BIO Ever since I saw my father working in his darkroom, developing films and making prints I was sold to photography. That magic moment when the image slowly appears in the first tray, the developer, I will never forget. However, nowadays we turned digitally, what makes me like photography even more. The possibilities and controls are endless to express what's in my head. Whether it is a still life or a model, for me it is about the “feel” of the image, that’s what intrigues me. What means that colour to me, how is the composition and cropping, or in case of a model, what tells the persons look, the position of the hands, the back, the legs. Everything is important including the smallest detail. To me pictures should contain rather less then more, to focus on the idea where the image is about. That’s probably why my pictures look like a perfect frozen moment where you can almost feel what’s in the image. |
